Depart the UK on your chosen scheduled flight to Seattle. Upon arrival, independently make your way to the Kimpton Hotel Monaco, where you are based for the first two nights of your trip.
Seattle is a vibrant and welcoming city brimming with attractions for visitors. Don’t miss exploring Pike Place Market and heading up the Space Needle for sweeping views over the city. While in the Emerald City, consider strolling through Pioneer Square, the city’s historic heart, enjoying a scenic waterfront cruise, and wandering the charming streets of the historic district.
Today you’ll collect your rental car and drive to Port Angeles, a vibrant gateway to the northern side of the Olympic Peninsula. Nestled along the shores of the Strait of Juan de Fuca, the town offers stunning views of the water and surrounding mountains. From here, you can explore Olympic National Park, enjoy waterfront dining, stroll along the marina, or visit local shops and galleries.
Quinault is your next stop on this scenic adventure, nestled in the heart of the Olympic Peninsula and surrounded by lush temperate rainforest. The area is renowned for its towering old-growth trees, serene lakes, and abundant wildlife, offering plenty of opportunities for hiking, kayaking, and nature photography. We recommend you explore the Quinault Rainforest, stroll along the shores of Lake Quinault, or simply enjoy the peaceful, natural beauty of this remote and enchanting corner of Washington.
Your journey concludes at Mount Rainier, a spectacular finale to this six-night adventure. Rising to 14,411 feet, the national park is a striking mix of glaciers, wildflower-filled meadows, and ancient forests. Spend your time exploring scenic trails, spotting wildlife like elk and marmots, and taking in sweeping vistas of snow-capped peaks and waterfalls. The area also provides excellent opportunities for photography, ranger-led programs, and leisurely drives through its serene, forested valleys, offering a memorable and peaceful end to your trip.
Enjoy your final morning at Mount Rainier, taking in the stunning mountain views and serene natural surroundings, before making the short drive to Seattle to catch your flight back to the UK.
