Revolution Rail Co. offers a unique railbike experience, allowing you to pedal your way through the picturesque Adirondack mountains. Meanwhile, historic ships and steamboats grace the tranquil waters of Lake George, offering a glimpse into the region’s maritime heritage.
For history enthusiasts, a leisurely stroll through the battlements of a French and Indian War-era fort is highly recommended. Experience the thunderous firing of cannons and captivating reenactments of the Battles of Lake George at the Fort William Henry Museum.

From exhilarating Maid of the Mist boat tours to panoramic vistas in Niagara Falls State Park, there are countless ways to marvel at the sheer power and breathtaking beauty of the falls. But the wonders of the Greater Niagara region extend far beyond the iconic falls. Outdoor enthusiasts will find themselves spoiled for choice with a plethora of recreational opportunities. Explore the rugged landscapes of the Niagara Escarpment, hike along scenic trails in Letchworth State Park (often hailed as the “Grand Canyon of the East”), or partake in water-based activities on the pristine waters of Lake Ontario and the meandering Niagara River.
