Spend your first night in Halifax, before collecting your motorhome rental and setting out on your adventure, safe in the knowledge that we have selected a great campground for you each evening so you make the most of your spectacular journey.

This motorhome itinerary includes:

  • Round trip scheduled flights
  • C25 Motorhome, including: insurance (Third Party Liability Protection, Auto Liability Coverage and Supplemental Liability Coverage up to $1,000,000), 500 mile package and local taxes on items which have been prepaid.

Depart the UK on your chosen scheduled flight to Halifax. Upon arrival, independently make your way to your hotel, where you spend the first night of your adventure.

90 Miles / 145 Kilometres

After enjoying a night (or more) exploring Halifax, be sure to include a visit to the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic, with its Titanic artefacts, head out to take in the stunning south shore. Be enriched by the amazing ocean views and visit the charming coastal communities of Peggy’s Cove, Chester, and Mahone Bay before continuing to the town of Lunenburg, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Don’t forget your camera, the Peggy’s Cove lighthouse is the most photographed lighthouse in Canada!

Take a short harbour cruise on the Bluenose racing schooner or similar excursions. By mid-afternoon continue along the south shore before heading inland to Kejimkujik National Park. Visit whilst in Lunenburg make time to visit the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic, and learn of the town’s importance during the fisheries boom.

Spend the day enjoying all that the National Park has to offer, from canoeing and hiking to cycling. The park is home to abundant wildlife and North America’s largest collection of Petroglyphs. The next day, venture to Digby Neck for the chance to witness the whales of the Bay of Fundy. In summer, the bay becomes a bustling feeding and mating ground for Finback, Humpback, Minke, and Right Whales.

This morning, head to New Brunswick and explore the stunning Fundy Coast and the Fundy Trail Parkway. Breathtaking vistas, rich flora, and abundant wildlife make this coastal experience unforgettable, hugging the majestic Bay of Fundy, one of the Marine Wonders of the World. Stop at observation points along the way, and you might even catch sight of whales! Afterwards, continue into Fundy National Park, where you can immerse yourself in the forest, explore its natural trails, and discover the fascinating creatures of the intertidal zone.

Today, visit Hopewell Rocks, the Ocean Tidal Exploration Site and home to the world’s highest tides! Here, you can walk on the Bay of Fundy’s ocean floor, where the gravitational pull of the sun and moon causes tides that rise and fall up to an incredible 48 ft, twice a day, every day. Conclude your journey at Kouchibouguac (Koushe-boo-gwack) National Park, a fascinating mosaic of bogs, salt marshes, tidal rivers, sparkling freshwater systems, sheltered lagoons, abandoned fields, and towering forests.

Today, journey to Prince Edward Island, home of Anne of Green Gables. If you’ve ever wondered whether the book’s setting is real, you’ll discover the magic for yourself, just as millions of fans have before you. Explore the island’s stunning coastal scenery, dotted with charming lighthouses, about 50 in total, and enjoy the vibrant landscapes that make this island so iconic.

This morning, arrive in the town of Pictou, known as the birthplace of Nova Scotia. After lunch, continue north to Cape Breton Island, often described as a maritime masterpiece, before concluding your day at the serene Lake Ainslie.

This morning, visit the coastal town of Inverness, known for its warm ocean waters and “Mermaids’ Tears”, the colourful sea glass that washes up along the shoreline, a true beachcomber’s delight. Then continue north to Margaree Harbour and experience the famous Cabot Trail, a breathtaking route that rises from sea level to 3,000 feet, winding along two coastlines—the Gulf of St. Lawrence and the Atlantic—and through the heart of a national park.
