Itinerary

Depart the UK on your chosen scheduled flight to Phoenix. Upon arrival, independently make your way to your hotel, where you spend the first night of your holiday.

Accommodation

148 Miles / 238 Kilometres

Scottsdale is an incredible destination, with lots of attractions, shopping and restaurants to enjoy, so we have allowed a full day for you to explore and enjoy before starting your motorhome adventure tomorrow.

Accommodation

33 Miles / 53 Kilometres

Collect your motorhome from Cruise America in Mesa and head to Flagstaff, the gateway to the Grand Canyon. Along the way, visit Sedona in Red Rock Country, home to the striking formations of Coffeepot, Cathedral, and the breathtaking Oak Creek Canyon.

118 Miles / 190 Kilometres

Mather Campground is beloved for its peaceful, natural surroundings, though it can get busy in the height of summer. The smell of campfires and BBQs, along with the camaraderie of fellow visitors, makes this location truly special. Be sure to experience the mesmerizing colour changes at sunrise from the rim, and if you can, take a helicopter flight over the Grand Canyon, an absolutely life-changing perspective.

139 Miles / 224 Kilometres

After exploring the Grand Canyon and the surrounding Kaibab National Forest, continue north to the city of Page and the stunning Lake Powell on the Colorado River. Try to arrive early to make the most of the lake’s adventures, with a speedboat trip to Rainbow Bridge being a particular highlight. Staying an extra night allows time to visit Antelope Canyon, a true photographer’s dream.

149 Miles / 240 Kilometres

Continue through the scenic Dixie National Forest on your way to Bryce Canyon, arriving in time to explore this remarkable National Park, famous for its unusual columns and pinnacles of rock. Set off early to make the most of the visit, and don’t miss the nearby Escalante Grand Staircase National Monument, a unique region of canyons, arches, plateaus, and cliffs.

72 Miles / 116 Kilometres

Travel south toward Zion National Park, a lush and spectacular landscape that invites you to stop and linger. Just 14 miles further, you can base yourself conveniently for easy access to this stunning park, perhaps for more than one night. Be sure to catch the live musical productions at the Zion Canyon Theatre, offering high-energy, family-friendly entertainment.

72 Miles / 116 Kilometres

Since you’ll likely want to spend more time in Zion National Park in the morning, the journey continues with a short drive to Mesquite as a stop on the way to Las Vegas, allowing for a more pleasant and interesting trip than tackling it all in one day. Along the way, explore the St. George area, with its historical gold mines, pioneer homes, fascinating ghost towns, and prehistoric dinosaur footprints.

118 Miles / 190 Kilometres

If you wish, you can take Interstate 15 right into Las Vegas. However, we prefer the more leisurely route through the spectacular Lake Mead Recreation Area. Continue on Lake Shore Drive; stop off at Boulder Beach; then turn east for approx 10 miles to the amazing Hoover Dam – certainly a most amazing man-made wonder. Then head to the fabulous Oasis Resort Campground. Visit: the Valley of Fire State Park on the way to the Hoover Dam.

35 Miles / 56 Kilometres

It’s only 15 miles to Cruise America’s Las Vegas depot to drop off your motorhome. Make your way to the airport and check in for your flight back to the UK.
