This morning, meet your Tour Director or Driver/Guide and fellow travelers at your hotel. You will travel through Gros Morne National Park, which will be further explored later in your tour, to the fishing community of Port au Choix. Here, you will learn about ancient cultures. After breakfast, you and the group will be transported to St. Barbe, boarding a ferry to Labrador, crossing the Strait of Belle Isle. Upon arrival, you will continue to the Red Bay National Historic Site, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where the Basques operated a whaling station in the 16th century. This enchanting location captures the essence of Labrador coastal living, weaving it into a rich tapestry of culture and history. Breakfast and dinner included.

Today, you will return to Newfoundland and travel to L’Anse aux Meadows National Historic Site, the first cultural discovery in the world to be recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Learn about the Vikings who walked here over a thousand years ago before continuing to your accommodations in St. Anthony for the night. Breakfast and dinner included.
