With beautiful landscapes, getting out and active comes naturally in Georgia. There are hikes to be had, lakes to be paddled, and beaches to be strolled on this wonderful itinerary, which combines Atlanta with historic Savannah and the coastal resort of Jekyll Island. This fly drive includes:

Itinerary
Depart the UK on your chosen scheduled flight to Atlanta, Georgia. Upon arrival, collect your rental car and make the short drive to downtown Atlanta, where your hotel is located.
Accommodation
After a good night’s rest, we have included another three nights in Atlanta for you to discover what this wonderfully diverse city has to offer. Stop by the Atlanta History Center or visit the Martin Luther King Jr. Historical Site, a moving tribute to an American icon. Browse through the former home of famous author Margaret Mitchell or pop into the Jimmy Carter Library and Museum. There are endless shopping options in Atlanta from shopping malls, boutiques, upscale fashion areas, and outlet shopping centers.
Accommodation
This morning you will make the journey across Georgia to the charming city of Savannah, your home for the next three nights. Savannah is one of the best walking cities in the USA, so be sure to get out and about and see as much as you possibly can. We also recommend visiting River Street, a glittering, multi-faceted gem along the broad Savannah River. The century-old buildings, once cotton warehouses, have been converted to antique shops, distinctive boutiques, spectacular galleries, quaint brewpubs, fabulous restaurants, unique nightspots, elegant inns, and hotels.
Accommodation
Today you will make the short journey down to Georgia’s Golden Isles where you will stay a further three nights on Jekyll Island. With over 20 miles of picturesque paths and trails, you can pedal your way to most of the island’s best spots. Paths wind in and around sand dunes, beaches, and historic sites, while the ancient oaks offer ample shade.
There is no shortage of dining possibilities on Jekyll Island. Whether you want to savour a seafood feast while marvelling at the sunset over the historic pier or kick back with some Southern classics while overlooking miles of Georgia coastal beachscape, Jekyll Island’s dining experiences offer something for young and old, and everybody in between.
Accommodation
After a hearty breakfast on your final morning, you will make your way back over to Atlanta International Airport, return your rental car, and check-in for your flight to the UK.
