Accommodation

Additional days can be added if you wish to stay longer, or you may choose to collect your motorhome today and begin your journey elsewhere.

Accommodation

103 Miles / 166 Kilometres

Collect your motorhome from the Cruise America depot in Miami and make your way to Grassy Key, a popular stop in the Florida Keys. Be sure to plan ahead, as sites here fill quickly.

57 Miles / 92 Kilometres

Cross the iconic Seven Mile Bridge and continue through Marathon, Big Pine Key, and the other islands on the way to Key West. Just five miles from the southernmost tip, Key West offers an idyllic setting to explore its unique charm and vibrant culture.

101 Miles / 163 Kilometres

With only one road in and out, begin your journey back north toward John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park. Established in 1963 as the first undersea park in the United States, it, along with the adjacent Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary, protects 178 square nautical miles of coral reefs, seagrass beds, and mangrove swamps.

35 Miles / 56 Kilometres

Leave the Florida Keys and make your way into Everglades National Park. Contrary to popular belief, it’s not a swamp but a vast river flowing slowly southwest.

92 Miles / 148 Kilometres

You are headed to Sanibel Island, a paradise for bird lovers where exotic and native species such as toucans, macaws, and lemurs can be spotted.

149 Miles / 240 Kilometres

Head back to the mainland and make your way to Fort DeSoto Park to cover some miles while enjoying a stunning natural setting. Spanning 1,136 acres across five interconnected islands, many areas are right on the water. You can fish from two free piers, or rent boats and bikes for a fun-filled day.

120 Miles / 193 Kilometres

Walt Disney World is your next stop, offering endless fun and excitement in Central Florida. This is a very popular destination, so plan ahead to secure your stay.

55 Miles / 88 Kilometres

Head east to the Atlantic and visit the world-famous Cape Canaveral and the Kennedy Space Center, NASA’s launch headquarters. Here, you can tour launch areas, see giant rockets, train in spaceflight simulators, and experience close-up views of the moon through stunning IMAX presentations. If you’re lucky, you might even meet a veteran astronaut. For a change of pace, explore the beautiful Palm Beaches and Boca Raton area, with Juno Beach offering stunning coastal scenery.

152 Miles / 245 Kilometres

In the morning, drive south to the luxurious Palm Beach area and experience the glamour of life as a celebrity while strolling along Worth Avenue, often called the “Rodeo Drive of the East.” Take time to admire the area’s stunning mansions, including Henry Flagler’s historic estate, now a top sightseeing attraction. Continue on to North Coast, a long-time favourite for travellers and the small boat community, with the beautiful sands of Dania Beach just minutes away.

72 Miles / 116 Kilometres

Allow a good two hours to get back to the Cruise America depot, especially if driving in rush hour. Return your motorhome, make your way to the airport and check in for your flight back to the UK.
