Located on the Arizona-Utah state line, Monument Valley is one of the most majestic and most photographed points on earth. Over the years Monument Valley has been the setting for more Western movies than any other site in the USA. This great valley boasts sandstone masterpieces that tower at heights of 400 to 1,000 feet. framed by scenic clouds casting shadows that graciously roam the desert floor. The angle of the sun accents these graceful formations, providing scenery that is simply spellbinding.

Horseback ride over the trails as if you were in a film yourself. Navajo wranglers set up corrals with horses ready to take you on a ride of a lifetime. Hiking opportunities are also diverse but many trails do have one thing in common – they lead to impressive ancient Anasazi structures and rock art. Take a jeep tour to see the most well known monuments including The Mittens, Three Sisters, Totem Pole and Ear of the Windand John Ford’s Point.
