Itinerary
Depart the UK on your chosen scheduled flight to Phoenix, Arizona. Upon arrival, you will make your own way to the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort & Spa.
Accommodation
Today is a time for relaxation and enjoyment before a week full of activity and adventure. Chill out by the pool, and take in some shopping at the Fashion Mall or 5th Avenue which is full of boutique-style shops perfect for getting your holiday souvenirs and local produce made by the local companies, both are located in Old Town Scottsdale.

Spend the day exploring the Grand Canyon State with a tour of the Grand Canyon South Rim and historic Route 66 with breathtaking views from a helicopter flight over the Grand Canyon. This day tour will treat you to panoramic views at the most expansive sections of the Grand Canyon South Rim and exploration of historic Route 66. Enjoy Grand Canyon National Park with a 45-minute helicopter tour over the deepest and widest part of the Canyon with our travel partner, Maverick Helicopters.

After such an action-packed day, we thought it would only be right to have another day to relax and recharge your batteries. Why not play around at the T.P.C Scottsdale course, home to the prestigious WM Phoenix Open and part of the PGA tour circuit. Scottsdale boasts 174 golf courses, ensuring a range of challenging courses for every skill level.

DETOURS’ approach to exploring is one of flexibility and creativity, sharing their knowledge of the area’s many hidden gems and unique cultures. This 12-hour itinerary includes some of the historic town’s most loved attractions, including Big Nose Kate’s Saloon, Birdcage Theatre, Boot Hill Cemetery, Tombstone Courthouse, and the OK Corral, we have also included a stop at Mission San Xavier del Bac.

Today we have arranged for you to experience two sightseeing tours in the Old Town of Scottsdale. First, you will take a segway tour, exploring the most popular sights of this beautiful part of Scottsdale. After you will eat your way through the Old Town on a 2-hour walking tour. Make sure to come hungry, as the 2-mile route takes you to six different restaurants. Taste the eateries’ top dishes and wash them down with cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks.

Today we think you deserve some more time to chill and perhaps top up your tan around the hotel pool, especially after the last two days of excitement. If you don’t like to laze around the pool, then perhaps you would like to take to the skies on a hot air balloon ride over the desert the ultimate way to experience Arizona’s landscape, soaring high above the desert floor. Our experts can arrange this for you if you wish to add it to your itinerary.
