Memphis is renowned as the home of the Blues and the birthplace of Rock ‘n’ Roll, but perhaps Memphis’ most fabled residency is Graceland, Elvis’ longtime home which serves as a shrine to millions of visitors. Created for enthusiasts, this incredible five-night experience visits some of the most important places from Elvis’ life whilst leaving time to enjoy many other aspects of the city. Should this package be too Elvis-centric for your requirements, we can assist with a more generic city break featuring a mix of Memphis attractions. This short break package includes:
- Scheduled flights from London to Memphis
- 5 nights at The Guesthouse at Graceland, Memphis
- Memphis Mojo Tour – This tour takes you to the places where Elvis hung out, seeing all the major sights, as well as exploring other musical sites around Memphis.
- Graceland VIP Entourage Tour – Experience Graceland like you are a VIP! See all of the exhibits included on the Elvis Experience Tour ticket plus visit some of the restricted areas not available to regular visitors, including fun items from Elvis’s personal wardrobe.
- Trip to Elvis’s Birthplace in Tupelo – departing from Memphis, this eight hour tour takes you across the border to Tupelo in Mississippi, where Elvis grew up.
Itinerary
Depart the UK on your chosen scheduled flight to Memphis, Tennessee. Upon arrival, you will independently make your way to the Guesthouse at Graceland, which sits next to the Graceland complex, offering an incredible position from which to explore The Kings residence. Please note that Guesthouse at Graceland is located a twenty minute drive from downtown. Should you prefer a more central location we can substitute a different hotel.
Accommodation
Get ready for your ultimate Elvis experience. We have packed your itinerary with exploration of The King’s life and loves, both in his personal life and professional career. During these days you will take an Elvis City Tour, which takes you to the places where Elvis hung-out, seeing all the major sights, as well as exploring other musical sites around Memphis. You will also enjoy the Elvis VIP Entourage Tour, which not only gives you access to all the Elvis exhibits but takes you behind the scenes to see items not visible to the general public. And finally, we have included a day tour to Tupelo, where Elvis spent his informative years before becoming the huge star later in life. Your time in Memphis will also allow for you to see some other sights. Why not visit the Rock n Soul Museum and the National Civil Rights Museum? Spend an evening on Beale Street, listening to live music and enjoying the gastronomy of Southern delights and make a visit to The Peabody Hotel, famous for the march of the Peabody Ducks.
Accommodation
Depending on your chosen flight, you may have time for some last minute sightseeing, before heading back to Memphis airport and checking in for your return flight to the UK.
