Twenty-five opulent white canvas tents, reminiscent of turn-of-the-century prospectors’ style, grace the shores of the majestic Clayoquot Sound, blending seamlessly with the unspoiled old-growth temperate rainforest of the region. Set at the heart of Vancouver Island’s natural wild-west playground, Clayoquot Wilderness Lodge (open seasonally from May to September) sits in a vast, 62-mile-wide inlet of the Pacific Ocean. Clayoquot Wilderness Lodge is perfectly perched in the UNESCO-designated Clayoquot Sound Biosphere Reserve and offers a tailor-made itinerary of extraordinary nature-based adventures. Guests have direct access to 600 acres of gloriously wild nature reserve where opportunities for adventure, education, natural enrichment and personal connection abound. The easiest and quickest way to travel to Clayoquot Wilderness Lodge is to fly to Vancouver, British Columbia and connect with a scenic 45-minute seaplane flight directly to the resort dock on Clayoquot Sound. Boat and helicopter transfers are also available at an extra charge. Enjoy a three night stay, arriving Thursday and departing Sunday or a four night stay arriving Sunday and departing Thursday. Seven and ten nights stays are also offered arriving on either Thursday or Sunday.
