Main Ranch House
The heart of the ranch, the Main House, features four double bedrooms with shared bathrooms. Decor is traditionally Western, with wood-panelled interiors, vintage ranch memorabilia, leather accents, and cosy furnishings. A communal lounge and saloon area provide comfortable seating, a fireplace, and a social atmosphere where guests can relax, enjoy drinks, or listen to live music.
Wild Horses Cabin
A favourite among guests, this cabin features a queen bedroom with a loft sleeping area, perfect for families or couples. Rustic wooden finishes, handmade quilts, and views overlooking the horse pastures create a serene retreat. The cabin includes a private bathroom, kitchenette, and outdoor deck with seating.
Cowboy Sunset Cabin
This duplex-style cabin offers one queen bed and a spacious living area with a kitchenette and a small dining table. Decor includes cowhide rugs, ironwork details, and warm Western colour palettes. A covered porch provides the perfect vantage point for sunset views, making it a peaceful spot to unwind after a day on the ranch.
Bunkhouse Cabin
Converted from reclaimed barn wood, the Bunkhouse combines authentic rustic charm with practical features. It includes a queen bedroom and a twin room, a comfortable lounge area, a private bathroom, a mini-fridge, and a cosy sitting space.
American Cowboy Cabin & Cosy Cottage
These smaller, stand-alone units are ideal for couples seeking a quiet stay close to the main ranch facilities. Decor includes classic Western motifs, such as horseshoe accents, wood-burning stoves, and frontier-inspired textiles. Each has a private bathroom and basic amenities, with convenient access to the saloon and dining areas.

Kara Creek Ranch is set in the scenic northeastern corner of Wyoming, just 15 minutes from the historic frontier town of Sundance. Surrounded by the untamed beauty of the Black Hills, the ranch spans over 70,000 acres of rolling grasslands, pine forests, rocky ridges, and winding creek beds, offering a vast and unspoiled landscape that’s both tranquil and invigorating. Its proximity to iconic attractions like Devils Tower National Monument (approximately 45 minutes by car) and the Black Hills of South Dakota—including Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse Memorial—makes it an ideal base for exploring the region’s natural and historical treasures.
