Gold Beach & Brookings, Oregon Coast

Drive along the spectacular Oregon coast overlooking rocky headlands to Gold Beach, a small seaside town where the Rogue River meets the Pacific Ocean. Head for the Port where you will see lots of great fishing boats, barking sea lions lazing in the sun, an 1880 vessel sunken in the harbour, and even a small museum. Visit the fish market and stroll around the shops offering fresh ice cream and foaming cappuccino and gift shops featuring the work of local artists. And whilst you are there, you have to rent a crab ring and go crabbing!
