Located on the central Oregon Coast five miles south of Lincoln City near the beautiful Siletz Bay, Gleneden Beach is home to incredible wildlife viewing sites and rugged oceanside cliffs. Visit historic Nye Beach which attracts tide pool enthusiasts and beachcombers as well as surfers, sailboarders, crabbers, clam diggers, kite flyers, photographers, and artists.
Visit the working harbour in Newport, or see ocean denizens up close at the Oregon Coast Aquarium and the Yaquina lighthouses. Discovered in 1778 by Captain James Cook, Cape Foulweather is one of the highest points along the Oregon coast at 500 feet. Activities include whale watching.
Stroll along the streets of Lincoln City and browse the many stores. If you have some extra time—about an hour—take a scenic drive up Highway 101 to the Tillamook Cheese Factory for a self-guided tour and scrumptious ice cream.
