Nestled in the Northern Rockies of Montana, surrounded by seven wilderness areas and at the confluence of three rivers, Missoula is an outdoor enthusiast’s dream. You can kayak, raft or tube through downtown or take a relaxing hike in 60,000 acres of wilderness minutes from your hotel. Missoula is known for its blue-ribbon trout fishing (made famous by A River Runs Through It) and spectacular natural beauty. The outdoor recreational opportunities are limitless.

Downtown Missoula is the heart of the community. Downtown you’ll find delightful stores, boutiques, galleries, restaurants and more. The riverfront walking trail lines the north and south shores of the Clark Fork River in Downtown Missoula. A walk along the trail can take you past McCormick Park, the Old Milwaukee Depot, John H. Toole Park and other scenic treasures in Missoula.

Travelers Rest State Park marks the intersection between cultural and natural history. Along the banks of Lolo Creek, visitors explore the landscape used for centuries by Native peoples, visited twice by the Lewis and Clark Corps of Discovery and home to a wondrous diversity of plants and animals.
