PALM BEACH
Separated from mainland Florida by the scenic Lake Worth Lagoon, the legendary town of Palm Beach is truly an island unto itself. Its colourful history began when the town’s founding father, Henry Flagler, declared it a “veritable paradise” in the late 1800s. Since then, members of America’s aristocracy, storied tycoons, and socialites have referred to Palm Beach as home. The year-round appeal of this island town is thanks to the impressive collection of gourmet restaurants, designer boutiques, and the shopper’s nirvana, Worth Avenue, also known as the “Rodeo Drive of the East Coast.”
