Fort Henry Admission

Located on the outskirts of Kingston, enjoy day admission into Fort Henry. Situated atop Point Henry, the Fort protected the naval dockyard at Point Frederick – the entrance of the Rideau Canal and the town of Kingston. 1000 Island Helicopter Tours

Boldt Castle Tour

Experience the love and romance of the most iconic landmark in the history of the 1000 Islands, Boldt Castle. Many come to see the beauty of the islands but some come to see the incredible opulence of the many mansions built upon these granite islands. Inarguably the most famous of all is Boldt Castle on Heart Island. Built by George Boldt in the late 1800s, he abandoned the structure before it was finished when his wife suddenly died. The love tragedy of Boldt Castle can only be truly understood by adoring the beauty from 1000 ft above the grounds.

Two Castle Tour

Duration: 30 Minutes

For a truly unique and unforgettable experience the 2 Castle Tour provides everything that the 1000 Islands have to offer. Beyond Boldt Castle, on Dark Island lies Singer Castle, another magnificent estate built in the early 1900’s by Gilbert Bourne of the Singer Sewing Machine Co. These two beautiful castles will take you back in time and leave you feeling mesmerized by their splendour. Experience this romantic tour with breathtaking views as the sun sets on the 1000 Islands.

Seaway and Cider Package

Duration: 1 hour and 45 Minutes

Kingston 1000 Islands Cruises

Kingston 1000 Islands Cruises offers the widest variety of cruise options in the 1000 Islands region. Discover local islands and sights such as Fort Henry, Kingston Penitentiary, and the Alexander Henry along Kingston’s historic waterfront on-board a cruise.

Heart of the Islands Cruise
The three hour Heart of the Islands Cruise begins with a view of Kingston’s UNESCO World Heritage sites and then winds through the small cottage islands of the Admiralty Islands. Kingston Trolley Tours

Kingston Trolley Tours takes you on an in-depth tour of Kingston’s historic downtown and waterfront, stopping at all of the city’s most well-known visitor destinations including Fort Henry, the Penitentiary Museum, and Queen’s University.

You can hop off at any on the nine stops, stay for as long as you like, then hop back on and continue your tour. Trolleys follow a figure-8 route that divides the route into two halves: you can begin with the east half of the tour, hop off at the Market Square stop (stop 4) to get lunch, and take a cruise, then continue with the West half of your tour.

Haunted Walks of Toronto, Ottawa & Kingston

Ghosts, graveyards, hangings and haunts, Haunted Walks take you on spine-tingling ghost stories around Toronto, Ottawa and Kingston. Prepare to be chilled to the bone with stories of haunted theatres, wrongful hangings, trickster ghosts, duels to the death, hidden burial grounds and distressed spirits. Generally taking between one and two hours, each location offers a choice of tours, each with a different theme, and each pertinent to the city. In Ottawa, choose from the Original Haunted Walk, The Great Ghost Adventure, Crime and Punishment Jail Tour or Ghosts and Gallows. The historic city of Kingston has a fabled past which can be discovered on the Original Haunted Walk. Alternatively, you can hear the eerie tales of Fort Henry on Ghosts of the Fort. Toronto’s Ghosts and Spirits of the Distillery tour takes place on its cobblestone streets, whilst the Original Haunted Walk showcases theatrical hauntings and unsolved mysteries.

The Original Haunted Walk of Toronto

Duration: 1.5 Hours

Ghosts, graveyards, hangings and haunts. The Original Haunted Walk of Ottawa

This popular tour shares some of the city’s favourite ghost stories from the area and leads you by candlelight to some of Ottawa’s most haunted spots including: the Bytown Museum, the Fairmont Château Laurier and Ottawa’s haunted high school. 

Ghosts and the Gallows – Haunted Jail Tour

Duration: 1.5 Hours

This tour takes you inside the old Carleton County Jail (now the HI Ottawa Jail Hostel) one of the most haunted buildings in North America. Was the wrong man hanged for the murder of D’Arcy McGee? Does he haunt the jail today? Experience the jail on this year-round tour and decide for yourself.

Crime and Punishment Historical Jail Tour 

Duration: 1 Hour

Unlike the Ghosts and the Gallows tour, this tour sets the ghost stories aside and concentrates on the incredible history of the old Carleton County Jail (now the HI Ottawa Jail Hostel). How was the prison used? How bad were the living conditions? Did inmates try to escape? How many were executed? All these questions are answered and more as you are put face-to-face with the last working gallows in Canada.

The Original Haunted Walk of Kingston

Duration: 1 Hour

Haunting locals and newcomers alike, this walking tour takes you through Kingston’s old Sydenham Ward. It features hidden burial grounds, grave robbings, hangings at the old courthouse, and Kingston’s famous haunted courtyard.

Ghosts of the Fort

Duration: 1.5 Hours

As seen on Ghost Hunters, explore Fort Henry, Kingston’s spooky 19th century fortress, as your guide recounts its tragic history, including the hanging of Nils Von Schoultz, the secret of Deadman’s Bay, and many supernatural encounters. Please note some locations on this tour may be frightening to young children.
