Originally built by the Swedish Thulin brothers in 1895, the hotel has a long history as part of the Lund community. The hotel features a restaurant and pub, whose sundeck enjoys unobstructed views of the Malaspina Straight. There is also an Art Gallery, featuring regional works of art, and a general store providing essentials and souvenirs alike.

Located at the very northern tip of the Sunshine Coast, near Powell River, Lund is the gateway to Desolation Sound, Savary Island and the Copeland Islands. The pristine waters, undisturbed woodlands and abundant wildlife opens up opportunities for exploring the great outdoors. Navigation from Vancouver, along the Sunshine Coast is by road and ferry, or you may choose to take the ferry from Comox on Vancouver Island.
