This short break makes the perfect choice for a first-time visitor to Baltimore. You’ll have time to explore historic landmarks, the wonderfully-scenic Inner-Harbor area, quirky neighbourhoods and many other popular attractions. This short break includes:
Depart the UK on your chosen scheduled flight to Baltimore International Airport. Upon arrival, transfer independently to the Hotel Indigo, your base for this five night city break.
Baltimore, known as Charm City, offers so much for visitors, from historic places and harbour cruises to family-friendly attractions and quaint neighbourhoods to explore. This package is five nights as you will need plenty of time to discover all that the city beholds. To get you started, we have included two sightseeing tours which we know you will love:
Fells Point Food Tour – this tour guides you through the historic district, visiting family-run restaurants and sampling specially made dishes including Polish, Baltimore-style pit beef and Spanish tapas.
Historical Sightseeing Tour – a small-group guided tour takes the guesswork out of your trip. Your guide will take you to see several different neighbourhoods and explain Baltimore’s rich history and culture, so that you have a fuller understanding of the city.
During your stay, we also recommend visiting the National Aquarium, The American Visionary Art Museum, The Maryland Science Centre, the Port Discovery Children’s Museum, Ripley’s Believe It or Not, and The Baltimore Museum of Industry. be sure to take advantage of the quirky water taxis, which transport you between many of the city’s neighbourhoods including Captain James Landing.
You may have time for some last-minute sightseeing or all-important souvenir shopping, before independently making your way back to Baltimore International Airport to check in for your return flight to the UK.
