Yellowstone National Park is home to some of the most diverse and abundant wildlife in North America. This full-day wildlife safari focuses on showcasing the hundreds of animal and bird species that thrive within this protected ecosystem. The tour explores valleys, river systems, and forests throughout central and northern Yellowstone, an area often referred to as America’s Serengeti. In the Northern Range, especially, there are opportunities to observe predators such as wolves and bears as they move among herds of bison and elk. Led by a professional naturalist guide, the experience includes the use of high-powered optics to view wildlife from a distance, as well as close-up encounters with animal tracks and signs found along the trail.
