Nestled in Edmonton’s scenic river valley on 158 acres of wooded parkland, Fort Edmonton Park takes you on an iconic journey through the city’s vibrant history. Visitors enjoy authentic, immersive experiences in a backdrop of historic buildings and artifacts, streetcars, a steam locomotive, a boutique hotel, and a state-of-the-art 4-D theatre. Recent updates to the park include a new signature exhibit, the Indigenous Peoples Experience, expansion of the 1920s-style midway, and a new front entry plaza & admissions area. The Indigenous Peoples Experience occupies 30,000 square feet and is where visitors will learn about First Nations and Métis peoples, who will recount their history in their voice.
